Stage 1 Physical Education courses are offered to Year 11 students and are designed to prepare students for Stage 2 Physical Education. Learning is delivered through an integrated approach in which opportunities are provided for students to undertake, and learn through, a wide range of authentic physical activities.
SACE Stage 1 Physical Education consists of theory and practical components. The content of each course is slightly different, and it is highly recommended that students who intend to study Stage 2 Physical Education complete the multiple Stage 1 Physical Education courses on offer. The following assessment types enable students to demonstrate their learning in Stage 1 Physical Education:
